Who am i? What type of designer do i want to be? Whats my style? Do i have just one style?
I love branding and doing corporate identities but could i love doing other things in graphic design? I haven't fully explored the different areas so does this mean i dont like them? I will have to find out as i go along. At the moment my focus in graphic design are two things, simple illustrative design and computerised designs. This can create vector, illustration and corporate designs. There is nothing better than drawing your idea putting it through the computer and getting your final design. Its mine. My approach is playful, fun and appealing. I try to put this in my work, however it depends on the brief.
Looking through my portfolio that got me into sheffield hallam university i realised that i use a lot of colour to brighten my design, make my message stronger and looks more appealing. You can see my two sides to design but both consists of been simple. So is simple my way of thinking? or making my crazy thoughts simple enough for people to understand through my designs?
Here is some of my work from college last year (2012), i didn't just want to look at work from university because i want to get a better understanding of what and how iv created things to get a better idea of who i am as a designer.
