Iv spent all day fiddling around with logos and decided i wanted to go with the most simplest design a H and a TOP HAT. H for Hayley and the HAT for HATFIELD. I was thinking maybe using green to represent field (grass) however i think black and white will be the best policy as the standard logo. I can always make the logo into a feature and change the colour then? I will be asking people what they think to my logo and make a tally chart, this will allow me to collect primary research. The reason why iv decided to go with my name is because of the survey i did. A lot of people thought Chebba was more personal to me and interesting but as a professional designer i will want to introduce myself as Hayley. This will allow the atmosphere to be more casual.
Playing with logos, i didnt know what i wanted but after playing with chebba i really like the H and the hat. Its simple and to the point. You could even use the hat as a symbol. The first one i did is the mouse, i never noticed how it makes a H! However, its not playful enough to represent me. I went for something more modern and used triangles as the theme, although i liked the idea of the H reflecting down it didnt do it for me. I tried in many ways but i still coloudnt accept it. So i wanted to create my own font for chebba and once i created it, thats when i decided the simple H and Hat is the best way for me.
