These are stop motion animations, using the camera to trick you!
This is my favourite stop motion animation because of the creativeness and appeal. Using things such as board games that people already understand and love is a great idea! They created something that you wouldn't expect. Hippos heads getting chopped off? THE HORROR!!
Holding the camera and taking your audience on a journey! Using what you've got around you isn't a bad idea, your only showing what you want the viewers to see. I included this because i think its a different approach than the other videos on my blog.
This animation is all to do with holding the camera infront of you, slightly moving your head makes it more sutel and gives a nice effect. This will take more frames because the images are moving fast. I dont think i want to do something like this because it has been done way too much. I want to do something more orignal, more me. I like that it shows you the past to the present. Now and before, young, old.
Reversing an everyday chore for men and making it fun! This is very creative, why not put hair on your face rather than off? The reason i like this video is the creativeness behind it. I could think about taking something i do everyday and flip it upside down and do something creative. Only time will tell.
PES what a guy!! been watching all of his stuff for a long time. No one will every beat him for his imagination with stop motion. He must have done a lot of research before starting this. You need to replace each ingredient then what goes first to cook the meal and the timing of the sounds to make random objects what ever he wants them to be.
Its really important to look into different camera angles, photo frames, how long focusing on a certain scene and does it fit? I really love this idea of clay. Its abstract simple, playful and its also something you'd do in a everyday situation (drink water).
By looking at this section of research, i now know what i want to aime towards and thats stop motion animation. I would love to fool my audience I really want to go playful with the video and not take it too seriously. Hopefully i will be able to incorporate abstract into it. I will have to start thinking of ideas and make it happen.
