Im not the one for playing with paper in this way, its fragile and flimsy! However i need to demonstrate the way i can make paper bend and fold. This will help me in some way, even if its for thumbnails ideas and my final packaging. You never know i could be a pro!
I wanted to start off with something simple, triangle lines! I thought simple lines are effective, in the correct circumstances.
I was looking back at my research and decided to make my own H like that pop up book. The theme was space and rectangles. I really like this idea, why does everything have to pop out?
After a workshop i decided to create my initials in a paper folding/scoring way. This is my end result, its really simple. It doesnt really show the real effect on my mobile phone camera but you can get an idea of what iv done.
I wanted to create a piece of origami, however alot of the tutorials online were very hard to do so i picked this ninja star. Two pieces of paper put together to make one, amazing. Im not a big fan of origami, it has alot of steps and is very fiddly so i wouldn't be doing one of these designs any time soon.
Random cut out monster, i was bored and made this creation! I think this could be cool to make a head of something for packaging?
Abit of stand up lettering, BIG,small or even double stands out. I could always incorporate this in a packaging design e.g. a design of me in middle and my hand coming off to shake? Why keep within the net?
Really sad you cant see the whole design its 3D and looks like pipes are running round it. Happy with this experiment.
Origami gone bad, this was an attempt to make something amazing and instead i got this! I really like the folded lines so i thought i should add it to my development.
